there is a paedophile in the llantwit major congregation in south glamorgan,uk.

he was disfellowshipped from barry congregation following a judicial meeting where approximately 20 sisters aged between 9 and upwards gave statements accusing him of alledgely commiting......child abuse, indecent behaviour and rape.

he of course denied all allegations and the elders did their best to protect him and took years to finally get the situation sorted but eventually, they had no way in which to protect him anymore so he was removed from the congregation.

generally speaking, the trust factor that most rank & file jws have for their elders is very high.

like silent lambs post shows, most brothers take what the elders say as the last word in most matters.

If your congregation has the electronics for it they call on people and they don't even know about it. So they may not have physically come by but they have come by. You may host angels at times and not even be aware of it. No, I'm not kidding. If your's is a pedophile hall or has something else real big to hide in particular, such as a murderer. They must protect mother organization in Brooklyn. Just because some things are against man's laws and they write against doing them in an Awake doesn't mean much when Mama is at stake. Shepherded without knowing it. But those who do such "shepherding" know how to elude those who in turn would shepherd them, so get away witht things galore.

Americans pollute?

just watching the news about the proposal in the uk to charge people for excess waste and they have the obligatory tv graphics and statistics.. apparently, the uk only recycles 12% of it's household waste and wants to raise this to 25% in 10 years time.

but (and this did surprise me) people in the usa already recycle 32% of their waste!.

i don't think we have any cause to criticise americans for causing pollution after all (normal people that is ... industry is still bad).

There is much recycling by individuals and companies in the U.S.0, but this is unfortunately offset by other things destroying the environment such as power plant pollution that harms the U.S. and also effects the adjoining environments in Canada and Mexico.

a jehovah's witness whose legs were crushed in a road accident caused when an ice cream man from stretford dropped his cigarettes died after refusing a blood transfusion, a court heard on tuesday.. margaret mccracken, 57, was trapped between her camper van and a parked car that was shunted backwards when it was hit by the ice cream van.. both her legs were smashed and one had to be amputated but mrs mccracken refused a blood transfusion because of her religious beliefs and died two days later.. at manchester crown court the ice cream salesman, himat singh, who was working for his family business despite never holding a driving licence, admitted causing death by dangerous driving and was jailed for two years.. his 48-year-old father, balbir singh, was in the dock with him because he falsely claimed he was driving at the time of the tragedy.. balbir singh was jailed for four months when he pleaded guilty to perverting the course of justice.. himat singh was told by judge anthony ensor that bending down to pick up cigarettes while driving was a case of gross criminal negligence.

Your elders, which I perceive you are, also use "Theocratic Warfare" word trickery excused by your being God's one and only manifestation of the kingdom on earth and thus entitled to fabricate. You wrote "I believe you will find that the LDS church does not conceal or hide anything about itself." which is loaded with dodges if closely thought about.

For example you do not state from whom you "do not conceal or hide" things, and it is a fact that you have a temple ritual for sealing which after performance requires you to wear extra undergarments that the general public is not aware of. In the book of Mormon you say Christ was born in Jerusalem which is false but then you hasten to say, well, Bethlehelm is part of Jerusalem's greater metropolitan area, which is ridiculous reaching.

True Christians are noted for good fruitage including love and JOY. I saw on TV where Mormons themselves are alarmed by the high number of Mormon school students suiciding in Utah. This is not joyful good fruitage but rotten, deadly, dangerous. The Watchtower Society like your Mormon leaders mislead and destroy lives. Do you wish to say this is false. Go ahead and do so if you wish to challenge the truthfulness of the media, even as your WTS cousins are doing.
